Loving Father to Elena and Maria, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 5, 2020 after battling a long illness. Pedro moved to New York City at the age of 19 years old and worked as a caretaker for the New York City Housing Authority. After 37 years, he retired to help his daughters with the care of his grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan who can cite the history of any sport and its’ many players whenever the topic would arise; of course he initiated the topic as often as possible.
Pedro is survived by his two daughters Elena and Maria, two son-in-laws, Mitchell and Joey, four grandchildren Sergio and spouse Geneva, Joseph and spouse Annie, Samantha, and Natalie. He was also blessed to have five great-grandchildren; Sean, Ryan, Sadie, Justin, and Annelise.
Pedro Cruz was an amazingly involved and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
