Dear Lorraine,
I am so sorry to hear of Philly's passing.  It was a shock.
I will always remember him fondly and remember the good times we enjoyed together with Morty (may he rest in peace).

I am very saddened to hear of Philly's passing.    Many  fond memories of him, especially as a young boy/man when he and Lorraine would be a fixture in our house.   I would love to sit and just listen to him and my dad tell stories of growing up on the Lower East Side;  - they had more stories to tell than Steven Spielberg, and those stories never got old.   He was a joy to be around.   A loss for all of those that loved him.  Rest in peace!

My husband Allan and I were very sorry to hear that Phil passed away.  When we were together in Loch Sheldrake for Paul's ceremony 4 years ago you both looked so well to me.  Phil was a kind and congenial man and I hope that you will be comforted by the joys that you have shared.  My parents bought a beautiful silver bracelet for me from him  probably in the 1970s and when  I wear it I think of his extraordinary talent.  Allan and I send heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Philly's passing.  Growing up, I always loved when Phil and Lorraine would come to visit  – especially because Phil was one of the  funniest of all my parents' friends. My condolences to Lorraine, Jody, Todd and the rest of the family. I know, right now, Phil is in Heaven arguing about the price of something.
