Regina, born in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025.
A gifted and passionate soul, Regina pursued her love for the arts at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. Her talent and dedication earned her a fellowship to Columbia University’s Fine Art Writing program, after she submitted 50 of her poems to the renowned poet and Columbia professor, David Ignatow.
Beyond the arts, Regina built an impressive career in telecommunications, serving as Senior Manager for RCN, FoCal Communications, and General Telcom at 60 Hudson Street. In the early 1990s, she was among the few women working hands-on at switch sites, gaining deep engineering expertise and breaking barriers in a male-dominated field.
Regina lit up every room she entered with her beauty, smile, charm, wit, intellect, and infectious laugh. Larger than life, she was unapologetically unique, with her own style and a fierce honesty that made her formidable. She stood firmly for what she believed in — and above all, she believed in love. She shared that love generously with her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her kindness and compassion extended to everyone — family, friends, and even strangers. She had a selfless heart, always ready to give without expecting anything in return.
Regina, the youngest of seven siblings, is survived by her beloved husband Nicholas; her cherished child Riley; her brother Edward; sisters-in-law Jackie,Jeannie, Lynn, and her treasured nieces and nephews Joseph, Alexandra, Jessica, Serena, Jeannine, Jillian, Maggie, Sarah, and Katie. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph, James, Tommy, Gerard and sister Peggy Ann.
