Beloved husband of Marie (nee: Martucci). Loving father of Laura-Ann Pafundi, Ann-Marie Pafundi, Ricky Pafundi and Michael Pafundi. Dear grandfather of Giuliana and Mikey Jr.
Richard was the kind of person who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a devoted New York Yankees fan who rarely missed a game and could always be counted on to cheer for his team. He loved to laugh and enjoyed watching classic comedies like Cheers and Seinfeld, which brought out his wonderful sense of humor.
More than anything, Richard treasured time spent with his family. Whether it was sharing a meal, celebrating holidays, or simply being together, those moments meant the world to him and filled his heart with happiness. He was a loving presence whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering love made everyone around him feel special.
Richard also had a soft spot for animals, especially his beloved dog, who was a cherished companion. He loved to dance whenever the opportunity arose and never passed up a good meal. His favorite dishes—meatballs and steak pizzaiola—were always enjoyed with a smile and in the company of those he loved.
Richard will be remembered for his love of family, his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the happiness he brought to so many lives. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
