It is with great sorrow that I announce the death of my beloved brother, Rudolph Marquez. After a long illness and prolonged fight Rudolph succumbed on September 10, 2019.
Rudolph Marquez was born on July 23, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in Park Slope where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic school. Pre-deceased by his father Michael Marquez, Gladys Marquez and his brother-in-law Vincent D'Amadeo.
He was a proud worker of the MTA for 15 years as a bus driver. He had a huge passion for baseball. Anyone who knew him knew he was one of the biggest Yankees fan. He loved to play softball and spend time with his daughters.

As our daughter grows up, walk beside her and protect her. Give her the strength to accept the things she cannot change. As well as the courage to chase her dreams and, the power to forgive those that may hurt her. Give her the freedom to love, like I love you.

You were funny and yes how much you loved the Yankees. The side no one saw was the best side I saw in you. You fought hard and you are so strong. You are one of a kind and I will always love you forever.

Rudy was always the guy that in a calm manner, no cheerleading rants could lift your spirits, usually by sharing his own life experiences to assure you that anything was possible, to just stay positive. I'm going to miss him! May you Rest in Peace my brother!
