Ruth Hirsch, of Brooklyn, New York passed away on August 17, 2016 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Louis Hirsch and is survived by her dear brother Lenny Siegel, loving daughter Nancy,and grandchildren Louis, Marc, and Cory.
Ruth grew up in the great depression and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943 with honors and was given high merit for exceling in science, outstanding achievement in speed stenography and awarded a prestigious typing metal. She went on to work as an executive secretary and later became a full time homemaker, loving wife, dedicated mother to her children and caregiver to her dear mother Tillie Siegel. Ruth extended herself to many charitable causes with generosity and an open heart. She was always there to help family, friends, neighbors and strangers with her understanding, wisdom, patience and kindhearted nature. She will be greatly missed.
