My father's mother was Seymour's mother's younger sister -- so Seymour was my father's first cousin. Seymour was kind enough to pass on much of what he remembered about my father's family and about our common ancestors, and that has helped me a lot in researching and thinking about our common ancestors.

When I last spoke to Seymour (I think during the last year of his life), he was quite unhappy -- and didn't wish to speak to family anymore.

Seymour would have been 90 years old today (in 2020) ; if any of his mind/personality/spirit remains, I hope that it is more at peace today.
