An end to an era. Stan was a wonderful individual who "did it his way." Rest in peace, my friend.

The words do not come easy for me.  I've had a friendship with this wonderful man for 30 years.  No matter what was going on in my life Stan was there for me thru trials and tribulations.  We shared a lot together over the years and miles.   It was always a treat when he was able to come to Youngstown. He and Herbie would come in and we would hang down at the park. And the couple of times I made it to New York he pulled out all the stops.  I've often thought how great it was that he and Herbie had each other. They weren't just brothers, they were friends.  I miss talking with my friend...if not every day, every other day we would talk. And I know one day we will talk again.  I love you Stan!

It was always such a treat for me to visit your home when I was little. You and Herbie were my 2 big cousins. In my entire life I have never seen 2 brothers as close as you were. You put up a good fight. Give my love to Aunt Gussie, and Uncle Bernie. Rest in peace.
