Tony Seda, born on June 2, 1934, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 91.It is with deep sorrow and boundless love that we announce the passing of our beloved father, whose presence graced our lives with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering strength. As we gather our thoughts and memories, we pay tribute to a man who shaped our world in ways both gentle and profound—a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and a devoted friend, and a soul whose laughter still echoes in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born in a time when the world was both simpler and more complicated, our father entered life with a sense of curiosity and a readiness to meet its challenges
Though his early years were not without struggle, our father’s resilience shone through. He learned to find beauty in small things.
As he grew, our father embraced the responsibilities of adulthood with steadfast determination. He cultivated a work ethic that was both formidable and inspiring, often rising before dawn to provide for his family. Yet, amidst the demands of career and obligation, he never lost sight of the values that grounded him—honesty, kindness, and the importance of treating others with respect.
Throughout his life, he excelled in his chosen path, whether in the quiet ability of daily tasks or the accomplishment of grand achievements. He was respected by colleagues and cherished by friends, not solely for his skills or accomplishments, but for the way he made others feel valued and seen. His humility was his quality, his generosity, a testament to the depth of his character.
Of all the roles our father played, none brought him greater pride than that of father. He was the steadfast anchor of our family, the gentle hand that guided us through storms, the source of comfort and laughter in moments of both joy and sorrow.
Our father’s kindness knew no bounds. He believed in the goodness of people, even when the world seemed harsh. He offered help without hesitation, shared wisdom without judgment, and forgave with a generosity that was humbling to witness.
Friends will remember his steady presence and the way he listened with genuine interest, never rushing or dismissing the concerns of others. To strangers, he was a beacon of decency in a sometimes-indifferent world.
His acts of kindness were never grandiose, but always sincere: a smile for a cashier, a door held open for someone burdened, a word of encouragement when it was needed most. He believed that the measure of a life lay not in what one takes, but in what one gives.
Beyond his commitments to family and work, our father embraced life’s simple pleasures and pursued his passions with quiet enthusiasm. Whether tending to his plants, doing his word search books, or embarking on a new project, he approached each endeavor with curiosity and care.
He loved the outdoors, finding peace in the rhythm of nature—the changing seasons, the songs of birds, the rustle of leaves beneath his feet. He found joy in music, dance, and in the endless possibilities of the world around him.
The wisdom our father imparted endures in the lives he touched. He taught us to value hard work, to cherish our loved ones, and to remain hopeful even in the face of adversity. He showed us that true strength lies not in force, but in compassion; that success is measured not by acclaim, but by the love we share with others.
As we say goodbye, we carry with us memories—his laughter, his wisdom, his unwavering presence. Though his absence leaves a void that can never be filled, we take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit lives on in each of us.
We honor his memory by striving to embody the values he held dear: to be generous, to be kind, to love without reservation. We remember the blessing of his presence, the lessons he taught, and the countless ways he made our lives brighter.
In the quiet moments of reflection, as we recall the stories and the laughter, we find solace in knowing that love endures. Our father may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Rest well, dear Papi. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words. Your legacy remains—an enduring testament to a life well-lived and a love that will never fade.
