Vito was born on August 3, 1946 in Palermo, Sicily. He was the son of the late Francesco P. Gaglio and Giuseppa Vitale. Vito was survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mary Coticelli - Gaglio. Daughters Josephine Gaglio, Gina Gargano, grand children Katherine Gaglio, Ryan Vito Gargano, Courtney Beth Gargano and Son in law Steven Gargano.
A visitation for Vito will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at Church of Sts. Simon & Jude, 185 Van Sicklen St, New York, NY 11223. Entombment to follow in St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
