William Morales

William was a devoted husband to Donna, a loving stepdad/father to Marisa and Danielle, and a cherished grandfather to Matteo and Leo, whom he was also proud to be godfather to. He was a beloved brother to Jose and a loving uncle to Joey and Michael.

William was truly one of a kind. He was the type of person who always saw the good in everyone. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone, and his kindness, gentle spirit, and warm heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was deeply loyal to his friends and family and was always someone you could count on. He was a wonderful brother to Jose and a man who never hesitated to step up, take responsibility, and be there when he was needed most.

William found joy in the simple things in life. He loved his salsa music, fast food, and cheering on his beloved NY Mets and NY Knicks. He loved to bowl and took great pride in his impressive average, especially at Shell Lanes. These were the things that brought him happiness, but nothing brought him more joy than his family.

His love for animals was enormous, but even that was surpassed by the love he had for his family. He treasured his time with Marisa and Danielle. He coached Danielle in softball and made countless memories with Marisa, including the special trips he took bringing her to college. In his own quiet way, William was always taking care of the people he loved. He made sure their cars were clean during the winter and that they always had a full tank of gas. Those small acts of love said so much about the kind of man he was.

William dedicated many years of his life as a custodian at PS 95 in Brooklyn, where he cared for and served the students, faculty, and parents. He was well respected and deeply appreciated by his coworkers.

William leaves behind a lifetime of memories, countless acts of kindness, and so much love. His laughter, his generosity, his loyalty, and the way he was always there for the people he loved will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Though he is no longer with us, the love William gave so freely will continue to live on through Donna, his children, his grandchildren, his brother, his nephews, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

He will be profoundly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11223.
