Yvette LATNER was born on June 1, 1928 and passed away on November 3, 2019. Yvette grew up in the southeastern part of the New York City borough of Manhattan, moved to Forest Hills Queens in the late 1950’s, and moved back to Manhattan in the 1960’s to live on the Upper East Side. The third of four children, she joins her parents Jacob and Pauline Brattner, her kid sister Ellie, her older sister Mollie, her brother Herman and his wife Anna who was also a friend, and most fondly of all, her husband Jack. Yvette worked in the stationery store business with Jack, which later became the Park Madison Newspaper Delivery Service on East 93 Street and Lexington Avenue. Yvette loved to dance and was active at the 92 Street Y. She enjoyed theater at Lincoln Center, the New York Yankees, the Rockettes, her favorite Chinese Restaurant Chef Ho, and games of all kinds, especially Mahjong and Canasta. She excelled at keeping her home clean and organized and lived by the motto “a place for everything and everything in its place”. In later years, Yvette moved to Sunrise Mill Basin and enjoyed meeting new friends, keeping up with resident meetings and hanging out on her favorite recliner overlooking the water and watching TV. She leaves her two daughters Karen and Audrey, her son-in-laws Arthur and Kevin, three grandchildren, Adam and his wife Mary Jo, Nicole and her husband Jamie, and Simoné, and four greatgrandchildren, Cale, Cohen, Camden and Avery.
