Amy was born in Tampa. Fl. to Dennis W. Black and the late Diann M. Redding. She spent most of her life in Odessa Fl. and attended Leto High School.
Amy was a very kind and loving person. She was an avid animal lover and had a passion to help strays, especially cats. Amy had an easy way about her, laughed at silly things and was always ready to help a friend or stranger in need. Her heart and soul were bigger than her earthly body so now she watches over all from above. She touched so many lives in her short time on earth and will be missed by all who knew her.
Amy is survived by her father, Dennis W. Black, Step-mother Donna Black, Step-father, Richard Redding, Step-brother, Chris Redding, Step-brother, James Shaffer, Step-sisters, Terri White and Patti Gonzales, and all of her extended family.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Amy’s family request memorial donations to be made to an animal rescue of your choice.
