Beverly Carol Hughes

Beverly Carol Hughes, age 87, of Brooksville, (Cloverleaf Farms) Florida died at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends, and she cared for by Hernando Pasco Hospice. Beverly was born on December 10, 1928, in Plymouth, Indiana, to the late Donald & Margarite (Moyer) Marsh. Beverly, George, and the children moved to Florida in 1954 to Ft. Myers, Miami, St. Petersburg, and finally settled in Tampa in 1964. Beverly came to Brooksville in 1996. Beverly worked for the First Federal Bank in Tampa as a loan processor. Beverly truly loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, and family members, and they knew her to be loving, tolerant, and always forgiving person, in every way to her entire family. Beverly loved sewing, was a seriously good cook, and always devoted to her family. Beverly was Lutheran by faith. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life her husband George Winston Hughes, in 1981; sisters, Marjorie White & Marilyn Snow, and son-in-law, Frank Bauer. Beverly is lovingly survived by her daughter, Susie Miears and husband Brad of Brooksville, FL. daughter Jeannie Bauer of Aspen, CO., son George Winston Hughes, Jr. and his wife Barbara, of Brooksville, FL., and Son David Westley Hughes and his wife Linda, of Brooksville, FL., and she will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 6 nieces & nephews, and her extended circle of family and friends. Beverly’s family and friends will gather at the Lake Lindsey Cemetery, 22137 Lake Lindsey Road, Brooksville, FL. 34601 on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 9 am. The graveside Service will begin at 10 am, with Rev. Dr. David Brockhoff officiating. Burial next to her husband George will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lake Lindsey Cemetery Association. Funeral arrangements and care are entrusted to the Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel, 504 E.
