Beverly A Repasi

Beverly Ann Repasi, 86, of Brooksville, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and was a former resident of Illinois. Mrs. Repasi was a graduate of the University of Illinois and was a proud “Fighting Illini” where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. She was an English Teacher at Hammond High School in Hammond, Indiana where she led the Debate Team to many victories; she was also a Physical Education Teacher at Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, Illinois. Mrs. Repasi was an enrolled agent at the Internal Revenue Service; she managed H&R Block Tax Office in Chicago, Illinois for 10 years and moved on to open her own Accounting Practice, where she retired from approximately 10 years ago. She was a member of the United States Air Force Ground Observer Corps; The Theatre Guild of Calumet City, Illinois; National Society of Public Accountants and she was raised in the 7th Church of Christian Science; she was a member of the Calumet City Bible Church of Calumet City, Illinois. Mrs. Repasi was a member of the Brooksville Christian Church. Mrs. Respasi enjoyed gardening and she kept an immaculate home, she had an eye for detail in her home and her family. She loved home decorating and she enjoyed reading “Better Homes and Gardens” magazines for years. She also liked to read the Bible and loved and believed in Jesus Christ. An amazing note on Mrs. Respasi was that she never received a traffic ticket in her life! She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward David and Grace Louise (Reinhard) Marcus; a cousin that passed away while in WWII, James Snyder; a brother-in-law, Curtis Repasi and by her aunts: Ruth, Lillian and Naomi Marcus; Edith Reinhard and “Little Aunt Ruthie” in California. She will be missed by her loving husband, Carroll John Repasi of 57 years; her daughter, Carol Lynn Repasi; her son, Christopher James Repasi and his wife, Catherine Repasi and her son, Ryan Hopper; 3 grandchildren: Erica Grace Wendling, Garrett James Wendling and Jillian Louise Wendling and by a brother-in-law, Clifford Repasi. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, October 11, 2014 between 1:00 – 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Homes Brooksville Chapel, 504 E. Jefferson St., Brooksville, Florida.
