Joseph JC Mathis III

Born in Tampa, FL he was a son of Joseph Mathis, Jr. of Brooksville, FL and the late Audress Denise Worthington. He was a graduate of Land 'O Lakes High School where he played football. He enjoyed being with his friends and family.

He will be missed by his father, Joseph of Brooksville, FL, grandmother, Maria Mathis of Brooksville, FL and sisters: Kasey Worthington of Spring Hill, FL, Jessica Garrett of Brooksville, FL and Cindy Mathis of Jackson, TN and brothers: Aaron Worthington of Fayetteville, NC and Steven Wesolek of Florida. He has 2 nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aundress D. Worthington who passed away on January 27, 2002.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Turner Funeral Home-Brooksville Chapel, 504 E. Jefferson St., Brooksville, FL 34601. Friends may gather on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
