

Mildred Lee “Millie” Moore, age 76, of Brooksville, Florida died on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. Millie was born on January 22, 1938, in Geneva, Ohio, to the late Max John and Zana Velveta (Thompson) Lee. Millie was a 40 year resident of Brooksville coming from Ashtabula, Ohio. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant who specialized in Alzheimer’s patient care, in nursing home, private duty, and as of late in locked down care units. Millie was Christian by faith and celebrated in the Pentecostal Church. She loved her animals of all kinds, NASCAR racing, cooking shows, and absolutely loved her "Price is Right" TV show. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Moore, brother, Walter lee, and sister, Virginia. Millie is survived by her loving family including, daughters, Donna Kowalski, Vickie Slocum, Sherri Smith and husband Jim, Lori Rad, Patricia Wilson, all of Brooksville, FL., son, David Moore, of Utah, and daughter, Bobbie Jo Hotchkiss and Husband Robert. Millie was also blessed to have 47 grandchildren, brothers, Raymond Lee and Philip Lee both of Ohio, and sister Betty of South Carolina. Millie’s family and friends will gather and celebrate her life at 1 pm on Sunday, August 24th, at the McKeathan Lake, inside the Withlacoochee State Park on US 41 North in Brooksville north of the Lake Lindsey Road.
