Patricia "Pat" Johnson Arnold

Patricia “Pat” Arnold, age 75, of Brooksville, Fl., died at her home on Saturday evening, September 6, 2014, with her loving family at her side. Born on November 26, 1938, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, to the late William A. & Essie F. (Ramsey) Johnson. A resident of Brooksville, Fl. Since 1994 she moved here from Columbus, OH. with her husband Dalton Arnold. She was a long time active member of the Hernando County Post VFW Post 8713, where she volunteered her time, h4elped with Bingo, and was the post Patriotic Instructor. Pat was Christian and raised in the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Fayetteville, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 40 years, Dalton Arnold, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Pat is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Kathy Light and husband Tom of Fayetteville, WV., son, Robert Conley of Springfield, MO., son, Tim Arnold, of Brooksville, FL., son, Tom Arnold and wife Saundra, of Kissimmee, FL., daughter, Brenda Peshel and husband Dave of Adel, IA., and son, Brad Arnold and wife Andrea of Columbus, OH. Pat will be missed greatly by her 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and by her sister, Judy Nutter, and husband Kenneth, of Hico, WV. and brother William R. Johnson, of Rapid City, SD. At Pat’s request there will be no funeral services, and her family request in lieu of flowers, please make donations in Pat’s memory to the Hernando County Post, VFW Post #8713, 1681 E.
