CHRISTIAN “CRI CRI” LEVERT
OCT 6, 1969 - JUNE 20, 2022
For those of you who knew me, you knew I loved my boys beyond anything else in the world - MES BEAUX GARCONS – Liam et Noah. When I reflect on my life my favorite moments were with them. Holding Liam for the first 1.5 hours of his life as his mom recovered from delivery, watching Noah take his first steps, cuddling with him every night and just chatting. Going with them to play soccer and baseball. Camping with them every summer, biking, golfing and just watching them grow and smile. They have made my life complete; my only real regret is that I won’t be there for them when they graduate, start their careers, get there first apartment, marriage and possibly have children of their own. Whatever they choose to do I will be there in spirit guiding them, they just have to look up into the nights sky and look for the brightest star and know that I am looking over them, so incredibly proud of the amazing men I know both will become.
Annie Dubé, thank you, for being in my life during its most important moments. Our boys will get through this because of your love and support.
Mom and Dad, Gaétane & Gaétan Levert thank you for fighting for me and for your support, encouragement, and unconditional love.
I leave behind my sister Annie and her fiancé Kevin and her three children Zander, Tyller and Riley-Ann. My younger Brother Stephane and his wife Jo-Anne and my nephew Jonah. My second family Jocelyne and Max, Magali and Patrick and their two children Jérémy and Victoria. I love you all.
On my mother’s side I leave behind, my aunt Francine and her partner Daniel, My uncle Jacques and his wife Carmen, my uncle Rene, and his partner Maryse and my Uncle Michel and his wife Louise. Numerous cousins. On my dad side I leave behind my uncle Claude and my aunt Gisele.
I also leave behind so many amazing friends, you’ve all added to my life and for that I am forever grateful. So, thank you to my Mad Raccoon crew, badminton friends. To my golf buddies, I’ll be playing Oyster Bay – Alligators Paradise and be thinking of all you. To my ball friends, this is my last home run; I’m going to hit this one out of the park.
I’ve enjoyed an amazing career, first in the military and then with the Government of Canada and made many great work colleges along the way, it allowed me to travel and see the world but most importantly it allowed me to spend quality time with my boys and for that I am grateful.
As you all know I am a social introvert, quiet but always available. If I can sum up who I am it’s probably with this saying “C’est Cool”. Come and join my family in celebrating my life, we are the sum of our experiences and you’ve all added to my life, its only befitting that you join them for the occasion. There will be a gathering on Saturday June 25th, 2022, from 18:00h to 21:00h and again on Sunday June 26th from 9:00h to 11:00h at La Maison Darche Services funéraires. Rather then sending flowers, please consider donating to ALS Canada specifically their research department. www.als.ca
