Dimitrios Kastanis

Beloved husband of 60 years to Ekaterini Groupou Kastanis.

Father of his late son Nicholas.

His 3 daughters Panagiota (Panagiotis), Christina (Christos), Giannoula (Antonios).

His 9 grandchildren, James, Michael, Stavroula, Panagiotis, Anthony, George, Angelo, Panagiotis and Pamela.

Family will receive condolences on Thursday January 26th from 2 pm to 5 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday january 27th from 9 am.

The funeral will follow at 11 am at St-John's Church 5220 Grande-Allée, St-Hubert J3Y 1A1. Burial will follow on St-Hubert Cemetery, 5310 Chemin Chambly, J3Y 3N7.

He never looked for praises. He was never one to boast. He just went on quietly working for the ones he loved the most.

His dreams were seldom spoken. His wants were very few and most of the time his worries went unspoken too.

He was there...a firm foundation through all our storm of life a sturdy hand to hold on to in times of stress and strife.

A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad one of our greatest blessings the man that we called dad.
