Gladys Habash

With heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of our dearest Mother, Gladys Habash Saleh (June 23, 1937 - October 10, 2022). She will finally be reunited with her loving late husband of 65 years, Saleh Tewfik Saleh. Gladys was an example of a life well lived. She knew how to build a family and create a loving home. Everyone who knew her was touched by her beautiful smile and kindness. Despite life’s challenges, our Mother always carried herself with grace and a positive outlook on life. She filled our lives and hearts with much joy and laughter. She leaves behind a cherished family that will continue her legacy: her son Tewfik Saleh (Suzanne), daughters Nevine Booth (Robert) and Moyra Azouz (Fred), grandchildren Louis-Philippe (Elysia), Kathryn, Olivier (Emily), Frédéric (Gabriela), Stephen, Annie (Mehran), Philip, and Julia, and her great grandchildren Liam, Leara, Nathalie, Samuel, and Emilia. She will also be missed by her loving sisters Jacqueline, Denise (Michel), Liliane and Mona (Charlie), brother Gaby (Nadia), brothers-in-law Wafaii and Tony, sister-in-law Mona, nieces and nephews, and many family members and friends she held dear. Rest In Peace our beautiful Mother. We love you so much.

Visitation will be held at Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 6100 Grande Allée, St-Hubert, Québec, J3Y 1B4 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on October 21. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at 12:30 at Cimetière St. Maxime, 3590 Sir Wilfrid Laurier Boul., St. Hubert, Québec J3Y 6T1.

Donations to Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
