Daughter of the late Eldena Mc Collin and James Straker of Barbados. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Dennis Ashby. Much loved mother of Jennel Ashby-Wilmot Toronto. Also survived by her adopted sister Marva Fields Barbados, niece Sandra Sandiford, and several other nieces and nephews.

A Ceremony in celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Brossard Evangelistic Centre on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. with interment and reception to follow
