Abraham Gregorio Flores, 56, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on May 30, 2025, surrounded by love and family. Born on October 26, 1968, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Abraham was a man of unwavering dedication, strength, and heart.
He built a life defined by hard work and resilience. Abraham spent many years as a trusted security guard, a role in which he took great pride. Before that, he worked as a welder and briefly as a truck driver—careers that showcased his incredible work ethic and skill. No matter the job, Abraham never missed a day of work and gave every task his all.
Abraham will be remembered for his intelligence, his charm, and his sharp sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and lighting up any room he walked into. He loved fishing, watching scary movies, and was deeply passionate about being a father. His daughter, Itzelh Anaí Flores, was the center of his world, and he set an unforgettable example of love, sacrifice, and strength.
He is survived by his Father Gregorio Flores, his daughter Itzelh Anaí Flores, his son-in-law Samuel Moreno, his beloved granddaughter Itzali Celine Moreno, and his loyal dog, Pepper. Abraham is survived by his siblings: Esther Alicia Guerra, Sara Ivonne Floyd, Pedro Emanuel Flores and Mario de Jesus Flores
Abraham was preceded in death by his mother: Alicia Flores†.
A visitation for Abraham will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Eulogies will be given at 6pm followed by the service at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
