Alejandro H. Montiel, 82, of Brownsville, Texas, was born July 10, 1944, and passed away on August 4, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude for a life marked by steadfast devotion, quiet courage, and a generous spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his years, Alejandro carried himself with honesty and wisdom, offering thoughtful guidance and patient understanding in both ordinary moments and life’s more difficult seasons. He was hard-working and faithful, meeting responsibilities with steady resolve, and he was compassionate and kind-hearted in the ways that mattered most—through gentleness, presence, and sincere care for others. To those closest to him, he was beloved and cherished, a source of strength and comfort whose warmth could be felt in a simple word, a considerate gesture, or a well-timed bit of humor that eased the day. His example remains inspirational: brave in spirit, devoted in love, and quietly adventurous in the way he faced life with courage and openness.
Alejandro is survived by his children: Alejandro Montiel Jr., Angela Montiel Olvera, Gloria Montiel Segura, Armando Montiel, Adriana Montiel Olvera, Alfredo Montiel, Abraham Montiel, and Alejandra Montiel. He was preceded in death by his son, Abel Montiel, and his daughter, Sara Montiel.
