Alfonso Silva

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and pastor of Iglesia Jesus Nazareno of Matamoros, passed into the arms of our Lord. He was born in Jimenez, Tamps. MX. and recited most of his life in Brownsville, TX. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Thanks to our Lord Jesus for the life He gave him. Special thanks to Dr. Ricardo Adames, Dr. Karkoutly, Valley Regional Medical Center, Valley Care, and all the family and friends who visited him in the hospital.

Alfonso Silva Ramirez is preceded in death by his loving parents, Leonardo Silva and Beatriz Ramirez Silva; his son, David Silva; his two brothers, Narciso Silva and Ambrosio Silva; and his two sisters, Maria De Los Angeles Silva and Margarita Silva Rodriguez.

Alfonso Silva Ramirez is survived by his loving wife, Maria Silva; his four daughters, Esther Silva, Angelica (Juan) Cobos, Maria De Lourdes Silva, and Margarita (Juan Luis) Silva; his four sons, Enrique (Irma) Silva, Alfonso Silva Jr., Guadalupe (Ana Luz) Silva, and Daniel Silva; eleven grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. and Friday, April 11, 2014 from 10:00a.m. to 9p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00a.m. at Un Ejercito Para Cristo located at 1555 West Adams Street, Brownsville, TX. followed by committal service at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Miguel A. Ramirez, Marco Castillo, Juan Luis Valdez, Jonathan Guerra, Juan Luis Valdez Jr., Ruben De La Cruz, Juan A. Cobos, Benito Rodriguez, and Roberto Rivas.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cassandra Guerra, Monique D. Silva, James A. Cobos, Beatriz A. Cobos, and Irina Silva.
