Alfredo was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors mowing his lawn, riding his bicycle, and enjoying the company of family and friends. He was an avid sports fan who proudly cheered for Club América and faithfully supported the Dallas Cowboys every season.
One of Alfredo’s favorite pastimes was going out dancing, where his joyful spirit and love for life were always evident. He also enjoyed watching classic King Kong movies, a hobby that brought him much entertainment over the years.
Above all, Alfredo was known for his loving and caring nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply spend time with those he loved. His family meant everything to him, and he treasured every moment shared with his children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends.
Alfredo's legacy of love, compassion, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain with us forever.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin Zubieta (Isabel) and Alfredo Aguero Jr.; his granddaughter, Anita Valentina Aguero; his brothers, Tomas Aguero (Estefana), Carmelo Aguero, and Armando Aguero, Miguel Aguero (Mary) ; and his sisters, Soledad Galvan (Marcos), Maria Barron (Luis †), Carmela Cuello (Jesus), Magdalena Aguero (Diego), Olga Castro (Oscar).
He was preceded in death by his mom, Maria De Los Angeles Aguero †; his father, Artemio Aguero †; his brothers, Leopoldo Aguero † and Manuel Aguero †; and his nephew, Fernando Aguero †.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, Chapel of Angel, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, US, on June 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Guadalupe, 1200 Lincoln St., Brownsville, Tx 78521, on June 9, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521, on June 9, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
