Alicia O. Munoz

She was born September 16, 1955, in Brownsville, Texas, a daughter of the late Felipe and Dionisia Olmos.

Alicia loved to garden. She had a green thumb and had the best turnout with all types of flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruit plants. No matter what she planted, they seemed to thrive under her care. Her garden was always full of bright colors, fresh scents, and healthy plants, making it the envy of everyone in the neighborhood.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father in law Ramiro Munoz; mother in law Hilda Munoz; her sister Blanca Olmos and her brother Carlos Olmos.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Fernando Munoz Sr.; her sister Molly Pealer and husband Frank Pealer; her brothers Reymundo (Mary) Olmos, Felipe and Pepe Olmos; her daughter Alicia Munoz from Brownsville, TX; her two sons Fernando (Kathryn) Munoz from Tomball, TX; and Luis (Jennifer) Munoz from Bayview, TX; her six grandchildren, Cindy Meza, Christopher Meza, Sophia Munoz, Miranda Munoz, Zoey Munoz, and Mia Munoz, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

At the family’s request, funeral services will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-10:00 PM with the rosary at 7:00 PM. Burial religious ceremony will take place Thursday, August 6th at 10:00 AM with the burial following after at 11:00 AM.
