Amelia G. Garcia, 77, passed away on September 10, 2026. Born on January 15, 1949, Amelia lived with steady faith and a quiet courage that met life with grace, meeting each day with a gentle strength that those around her came to rely upon. A beloved and cherished wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she will be remembered for her kind-hearted compassion, her honest counsel, and the thoughtful ways she made others feel seen and cared for.
Amelia’s devotion showed in the constancy of her love and the generosity of her spirit. Her hard-working nature was evident in the life she built and the care she poured into her home and family. She found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures—gardening and flowers that reflected her patient attention and tender touch. She was also known as a seller at the flea market, where her warm humor and steady presence turned everyday exchanges into moments of connection. In all things, Amelia carried a wisdom that guided others, offering encouragement that was quietly inspirational.
Amelia is survived by her spouse, Juan Benito Garcia; her children, Juan De Dios Garcia (Vanessa), Sandra Olaguez (Antonio), Jessica Villarreal (David), and David Benito Garcia (Leslie); her brothers, Roberto Gutierrez and David Gutierrez; and also leaves behind 10 grandkids. She was preceded in death by her father, Refugio Gutierrez; her mother, Maria De Jesus Perez; and her sisters, Rafaela Gutierrez and Magdalena Gutierrez.
