Anthony Edward Ybarra, 48, passed away on February 9th, 2026, at Valley Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on December 28, 1977, his parents were Ynes Ybarra Jr. and Susana Ybarra.
An avid fisherman, Anthony enjoyed spending time outside in the great outdoors.
Anthony is survived by his three children, Matthew, Samantha, and Nayeli; his mother, Susana; his sisters, Melisa and Michelle; and several other cherished family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ynes.
A burial of ashes will be held at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 78526, on February 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Anthony's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
