He is survived by his wife, Maria De Jesus Barrera; parents, Nicolas Barrera and Maria Victoria Morales; sons, Avelardo Rodriguez, Moises Rodriguez, Hervey Zulaica, Juan Zulaica, and Antonio Barrera, Jr.; daughter, Yennia Barrera and granddaughter, Liltanna Barrera.

Special Message by the family:

"Gracias a Dios por prestar a mi padre tantos años aunque ya decidio llevarselo, siempre vivira una parte de el en todos nosotros. El siempre fue una persona de buen Corazon que sabia perdonar apesar de todo y que siempre tubo un buen character hasta el fin de su camino. Siempre te recordaremos como aquel persona que nos hacia reir con tus ocurrencias y con tus tantas historias, te queremos y te amamos mucho. Que en paz descanses Papa Antonio Alberto Barrera."

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
