It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend, Apolinar Ceballos Jr., affectionately known to many as Topo, who passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 51.
Topo’s passing came suddenly, leaving us in shock and unimaginable grief. Just days ago, we were holding onto hope, praying for more time—but time proved far too short. Though we may never fully be ready to say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved and how widely he made a difference in the lives of others.
A lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas, Topo was not only known as the proud owner of Ceballos’s Roofing, but also as a dedicated mentor who taught and guided many through hard work and integrity. His presence was more than leadership—he embodied loyalty, generosity, and strength.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Melissa Ceballos, and their five children: Angel Ceballos, Santiago Ceballos, Salma Ceballos, Alvaro Ceballos, and Valerie Ceballos, each of whom carry his legacy forward. His impact on their lives—and the lives of so many others—cannot be measured in words alone.
Topo's memory will forever remain a guiding light for those who knew and loved him. His laughter, wisdom, and unwavering devotion will be missed every single day.
