Bertha was a loving and devoted mother and sister whose kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a woman with a caring heart who found happiness in life's simple pleasures and treasured the special moments spent with her loved ones.
Bertha had a special love for her plants and enjoyed spending time watering and caring for them. Just as she nurtured her plants with patience and love, she cared deeply for those around her. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling to Brownsville, where she cherished the opportunity to visit, spend time with loved ones, and create beautiful memories.
Above all, Bertha's greatest joy was her family. She was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren. As a devoted mother and loving sister, she expressed her love through thoughtful gestures, kindness, and the little things that meant so much. Her unconditional love, caring nature, and the memories she created will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family.
Bertha is survived by her beloved children, Bertha A. Jarmusch (George) and her family, Sergio Hernandez and his family, Sonia Bouquet (Carlo) and her family, Paloma Bilyk (Greg) and her family, Annette Daniels and her family, Cassie C. Nieves (Andrew) and her family, and Bertha A. Hernandez and her family; and her brother, Jesus Almaraz (Esperanza) and his family. She also leaves behind extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Fernando T. Hernandez and Roy S. Daniels; her birth mother, Mariana Narvaez and her step-mother Monica Pioquinta; her father, Jesus Almaraz; her son Reuben Salazar; her daughter Silvia Hernandez; her granddaughter Winter Rose Nieves, and her sister, Teresa Mata.
Although her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of her loved ones, Bertha's memory will continue to bloom like the beautiful plants she so lovingly cared for. Her love, kindness, and the precious memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
