Nuestra querida madre, hermana y abuela, con su gran fe en Dios, siempre estuvo ahí para todos nosotros, brindando su amor incondicional, apoyo y orientación en todos los momentos. Recordaremos con cariño sus abrazos, sus palabras y sus bendiciones. Su legado perdurará en cada uno de nosotros, en los valores y principios que nos enseñó. La queremos mucho y siempre la recordaremos con esa sonrisa hermosa.
Le sobreviven sus tres hijos: Juan José De León, Maria Isabel De León (Jorge Mata), Patricia De León (Joe Barbee). Cuatro amados nietos: Sergio Mata, Jorge E. Mata, Myrella E. Diaz (Donovan A. Ramos) Vincent Guitron y dos bisnietos: Giovanni Alec Ramos y Noah Grey Ramos. Deja también a sus hermanas Maria Martinez y Esther Martinez.
Fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo Próspero De León, sus padres: Francisco Martinez y Rufina Martinez. Tres hermanas: Anselma Gonzalez, Francisca Villarreal, Teresa Trujillo y Dos hermanos: Raúl Martinez y Fidel Martinez.
La Visitación se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Del Ángel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX, el 16 de diciembre de 2025, de 4:00 pm a 9:00 pm; con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 pm.
La visitación continuará el 17 de diciembre de 2025 desde las 8:00 am hasta las 9:30 am.
Una Misa se celebrara el 17 de diciembre de 2025 a las 10:00 am en la Iglesia Católica de la Sagrada Familia, 2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX. Después de la Misa, se llevará a cabo el sepelio en Buena Vista Burial Park, ubicado en 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX

Bertha Clementina De León, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 84.
Bertha was born on April 10, 1941, in Atotonilco, Jalisco.
Our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, with her great faith in God, was always there for all of us, offering her unconditional love, support, and guidance at every moment. We will lovingly remember her hugs, her words, and her blessings. Her legacy will live on in each of us, in the values and principles she taught us. We love her dearly and will always remember her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her three children: Juan José De León, Maria Isabel De León (Jorge Mata), and Patricia De León (Joe Barbee).
Four beloved grandchildren: Sergio Mata, Jorge E. Mata, Myrella E. Diaz (Donovan A. Ramos), and Vincent Guitron as well as two great-grandchildren: Giovanni Alec Ramos and Noah Grey Ramos. She also leaves behind two sisters Maria Martinez y Esther Martinez.

Visitation will continue on December 17, 2025, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
A Mass will be celebrated on December 17, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX.
Following the Mass, the burial will take place at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX.
