Blanca Trejo passed on May 28, 2026, at the age of 74. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and friend. She shared 54 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Lauro Trejo — 54 years of love that will endure beyond goodbye.
Blanca dedicated 27 years of service to Egly Elementary School, where she loved and cared for each and every one of her children. Her kind and gentle spirit touched countless lives throughout the years.
She enjoyed gardening, creating scrapbooks, traveling with her husband, going to the movies, dining out, shopping, and most of all, gathering with her family. Blanca loved her grandchildren deeply and would do anything for them at any time. They brought her immense joy and were truly the center of her world. She also treasured every moment spent with her two sons and their families.
Blanca had a special love for her Boston Terriers, each lovingly given the same AKC registered name, Blanca Petra Nina. She also cherished her yearly trips to Bryan, Texas, with her big sister to visit their baby sister.
A devoted Christian and deeply spiritual woman, Blanca once served as a Sunday school teacher at Abundant Grace Fellowship. She was loved by everyone and hated by none. Her presence left a lasting impression, and she impacted many lives with her kindness, gentleness, loving and giving nature, and most of all, her beautiful laugh.
Blanca will be dearly missed, but her memories will live forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
Blanca is survived by her husband, Lauro Trejo of Brownsville, Texas; her sons, Lauro B. Trejo III of McAllen, Texas, and David Joe Trejo of San Juan, Texas; daughters-in-law, Kimberly Trejo and Mary Trejo; grandchildren, Chelsea Trejo, Jason Trejo, and Alondra Trejo; as well as four brothers and three sisters.
