Blasa Vega, 80, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Harlingen, Texas.

Blasa is preceded in death by parents, Lazaro and Estella Martinez Vega. Left to cherish her memory is her son Hector Ortega Jr. daughter-in-law, Zoila Flor Martinez, grandsons: Andres Rafael Martinez and Sebastian Ortega, granddaughter, Samantha Ortega and first cousins; Maura Ramirez Sandoval and Margarita Ramirez.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 12pm to 10pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 9am at Immaculate Conception Cathedral followed by a committal service to Buena Vista Burial Park.
