Carlos Gonzalez

Carlos Gonzalez, beloved by many and known for his humor and kind-hearted spirit, passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Mexico on November 5, 1947, Carlos brought joy and laughter to those he encountered throughout his eventful life.

A resident of Brownsville, Texas, Carlos was a devoted husband and the original girl's dad. He is survived by his loving wife, Aurora A. Gonzalez, and three daughters, Nellie Buzek (Jimmy), Nettie Gonzalez-Alvarado, and Narce Alvarado (Jeff) . His family extended to his granddaughter, Stephanie Alvarado-Roach (Kevin) and grandson, Nicholas Buzek (Tory). Carlos was a caring brother to Ilda Peña (Alex) and daughter, Nikki Salinas. An incredible uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews.

Carlos's life was filled with a zest for music and the great outdoors. He was consistently drawn to playing the bajo sexto, acordeon, and harmonica. Outside of music, he had a passion for farming and fishing, which brought him peace and joy.

A person of deep faith, Carlos was a Christian, a true man of few words whose every utterance carried weight. He was an unparalleled jokester and the ultimate handyman.

Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Donato Gonzalez; mother, Erminia Gonzalez; brother, Don Gonzalez; and sister, Cheva Martinez. His memory lives on through his family, his lasting contributions, and the abundant love and kindness he gave to everyone he met.

In place of long sermons, Carlos expressed his affection positively and humorously, embodying a life well-led through joy and talent. His TLC for individuals reached tacitly, matching his jovial demeanor marked indelibly on hearts his presence graced.

A memorial service to honor his life will take place at El Divino Rey Family Church, located at 9200 FM1732, Olmito, TX, on November 24, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Carlos Gonzalez’s legacy continues to illuminate, reminding each of the family and friends to live with love, gratitude, and humor.

Carlos González, querido por muchos y conocido por su humor y espíritu bondadoso, falleció el 18 de noviembre de 2025, a la edad de 78 años. Nacido en México el 5 de noviembre de 1947, Carlos trajo alegría y risas a quienes encontró a lo largo de su vida llena de acontecimientos.

Residente de Brownsville, Texas, Carlos fue un esposo devoto y el "papá de niñas original". Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Aurora A. González, y tres hijas, Nellie Buzek (Jimmy) y Nettie González-Alvarado, Narce Alvarado (Jeff). Su familia se extendía a su nieta, Stephanie Alvarado-Roach (Kevin) y su nieto, Nicholas Buzek (Tory). Carlos fue un hermano cariñoso para Ilda Peña (Alex) y su hija Nikki Salinas. También un tío increíble para sus numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos.

La vida de Carlos estaba llena de un entusiasmo por la música y el aire libre. Siempre se sintió atraído por tocar el bajo sexto, acordeón y armónica. Fuera de la música, tenía una pasión por la agricultura y la pesca, lo que le traía paz y alegría.

Una persona de profunda fe, Carlos era cristiano, un verdadero hombre de pocas palabras cuyas palabras siempre tenían peso. El era un bromista sin igual y el mejor hombre dando mantenimiento, el que sabía hacer de todo un poco.

Carlos fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Donato González; madre, Erminia González; su hermano, Don González; y su hermana, Cheva Martínez. Su memoria vive a través de su familia, sus contribuciones duraderas y el abundante amor y bondad que dio a todos los que conoció.

En lugar de largos sermones, Carlos expresaba su afecto de manera positiva y humorística, encarnando una vida bien vivida a través de la alegría y el talento. Su cariño por las personas se manifiestaba tácitamente, igualando su comportamiento jovial marcado indeleblemente en los corazones que su presencia agració.

Un servicio conmemorativo para honrar su vida tendrá lugar en la Iglesia Familiar El Divino Rey, ubicada en 9200 FM1732, Olmito, TX, el 24 de noviembre de 2025, de 3:00 pm a 5:00 pm.

El legado de Carlos Gonzalez continúa iluminando, recordando a cada uno de los familiares y amigos vivir con amor, gratitud y humor.
