Carmen H. Leos, a beloved resident of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 3, 1934, Carmen lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucindo Leos Jr.; her parents, Priciliano Hernandez & Josefina Garza Hernandez; her brothers, Emmanuel Hernandez, Ramon Francisco Hernandez, and Priciliano Hernandez; and her sister, Josefina Boxade.
Carmen is survived by her son, Dr. Xavier Leos and his wife Linda Garcia Leos. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kathryn Thalia Leos, Delilah Lynn Leos, and Steve Garcia Leos, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Leonie J. Cerna and Xavier Reynaldo Galindo.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526, on February 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will take place at the same venue from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The mass will be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 1914 Barnard Rd, Brownsville, TX 78520, on February 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Following the mass, the burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 78526, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Pallbearers for the services will include Emmanuel Hernandez Jr., Raul Garza Jr., Raul Hernandez, Steve Garcia Leos, James Cortez, Roger Garza, and Reynaldo Galindo.
Carmen will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories of her warmth and generosity.
