Celina Rodriguez, age 75, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025 surrounded by her family . Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and devotion to those she cherished most.
Celina found joy in the simple but meaningful things in life. She had a gift for crochet, creating handmade pieces that will forever serve as reminders of her love and care. Her garden bloomed under her tender touch, and she delighted in nurturing flowers and plants as much as she nurtured her family.
Travel was another passion of Celina’s—especially her cherished trips to San Antonio, Texas. She loved to explore new places, savor new flavors, and collect memories along the way. In her kitchen, she poured her heart into every meal she prepared, filling her home with warmth, delicious aromas, and laughter around the table.
Above all, Celina’s greatest pride and joy was her family. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a steady source of unconditional love, guidance, and comfort. Her gentle spirit and radiant smile will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the lives she touched.
Celina leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her by carrying forward her traditions, her love for nature, her passion for cooking, and her spirit of adventure.
Celina is survived by her husband, Raul Rodriguez; her daughter Deborah Lopez; her daughter Celina Rodriguez; her daughter Lucila Villarreal (Juan); her daughter Leslie Martinez (Jesus); and her son Juan Rodriguez (Janet) and her sister Guadalupe Beauvec.
Celina M. Rodriguez also leaves 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Celina will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 11:59 PM with a rosary at 7:00PM at Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
A chapel service will occur Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM in Chapel of Angels atFuneraria Del Angel Buena Vista 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
Followed by burial at 11:00 AM ,at Buena Vista Burial Park 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
