entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 24, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father Daniel Bocanegra, mother Francisca Castillo de Bocanegra and sister Gloria Bocanegra. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 39 years Maria del Carmen Bocanegra, son Daniel (Jessica)Bocanegra Jr., son Alfredo (Susana) Bocanegra, grandchildren Arlen Bocanegra and Mikaila de la Cruz, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11am to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Mass on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
