Mr. Serna was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Pilar Serna and Maria Rodriguez; wife, Maria Rita Serna; son, Daniel Serna; daughter, Olivia Serna and daughter in law, Norma L. Serna.
He is survived by his son Arnulfo Serna (Norma+); daughters, Alicia Gomez (Ezequiel), Maria Del Pilar Garza (Rev. Zenaido), Elva Lucio (Enrique) and Maria Rita Delgado (Guillermo); 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 am – 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista
Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Templo Bethel 2965 Tampico St. Brownsville, Texas with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
