David Anzaldua, 48, was born on August 1, 1977, in Brownsville, Texas, and passed away on May 18, 2026. He lived in Los Fresnos, Texas. David will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him, and his life will be honored through the love he gave and the strong bonds he maintained with family.
David loved to fish, play guitar, paint, and was an amazing cook. He lived for the precious moments with his family. He was a son, brother, father, uncle, and so much to so many. He loved to laugh and make others smile. He had an unmeasurable amount of love for his children and grandchildren, and never missed a day to call his mom and dad. David was a locomotive engineer, conductor, paramedic, firefighter, EMT, industrial mechanic, and an amazing artist and fisherman.
David is survived by father Arnaldo Anzaldua and mother Rita G. Anzaldua, along with sisters Maria Eliza Pulido (Roy Torres) and Yvette Anzaldua (Noe Zamora), and children Gianna Lorely Anzaldua (Dylan) and Fernando David Anzaldua; also surviving are granddaughter Isabella Mae and grandson Clayton Isaac Price.
David was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Maria Reina Gonzalez and maternal grandfather Alfredo Gonzalez, and by paternal grandfather Leonardo Anzaldua and paternal grandfather Maria Anzaldua.
David Anzaldua also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Remy, Darian, Trey, Angelo and Maddie to cherish his memory.
Pallbearers will be Fernando David Anzaldua, Roberto Remington Pulido, Darian Jacob Pulido, Jose Roberto Pulido, III (Trey), Angelo Ortega, Jr., Roy Torres, Noe Zamorano, and Dylan Price.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, on May 27, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Chapel service will take place on May 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am followed by a burial from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
