David Castro, age 61, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021.

David was preceded in death by father Eliseo Castro (†) and mother Guadalupe Castro (†); brother Jorge Castro (†).

David is survived by his wife, Gricelda Castro; son David (Luis Anna Rodriguez) Castro Jr.; and daughter Gina Gisell (Agapito Ortega) Ortega; granddaughter Gabriella Rose Trevino and grandson Agapito Ortega Jr..

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:30 PM at St Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Dr, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are David Castro Jr., Agapito Ortega Jr., Hugo Cisneros, Alex Cisneros, Eliseo Castro, Javier Zuniga , Steve Burdick and Raul Banda.
