David was born November 1, 1969 in Mexico City D.F. Passed away surrounded by his loving family in Edinburg Regional Medical Center. David was deeply loved by his family and friends till his final days. David was a very kind, loving, caring brother, son, uncle and friend. David was a God fearing gentleman that is now rejoicing in God's presence. David was a US Navy Veteran with many stories to tell. We will all miss him: May David Rest in the hands of our Heavenly Father and Savior.
David is survived by his mother Nilda R. Cepeda and father Jesus Cepeda; sister Rachel Neilson (Chuck), brother Aaron Cepeda (Elisa), brother Josh Cepeda and sister Mirza Sanchez.
David was preceded in death by his brother Angel F. Cepeda; cousin Liliana Aguilar, paternal grandparents Roberto and Maria De Los Angeles Cepeda, and maternal grandparents Fernando and Isabel Aguilar.
David Otoniel Cepeda also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many family members to cherish his memory.
A visitation for David will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521. A Chapel Service will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521.
Serving as pallbearers are Benjamin Cepeda, Gael Sanchez, Keven Cepeda, Jacob Casas, Josh Cepeda, Aaron Cepeda, Charles K. Neilson (Chuck), Charles A. Neilson (Buba) and honorary pallbearer REV. Jesus Cepeda.
