Diego Garza, age 23, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Diego is survived by his parents: Jesus Roberto Garza and Noemi Cruz Garza; his brother: Jesus Rodrigo Garza; his paternal grandfather: Antonio Garza Jr; his aunts and uncles: Isabel Cruz, Veronica Cruz, Antonio R. Garza, Hilda Lund (Mark) and Raquel Garza. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

Diego was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Josefa Cavazos Cruz; his maternal grandfather: Oscar Cruz; his paternal grandmother: Raquel Garza; and his aunt: Julia Garza.

A visitation for Diego will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A mass will occur Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1218 E Jefferson, Brownsville, Texas 78520. A burial will occur Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are: Jesus Roberto Garza, Jesus Rodrigo Garza, Antonio R. Garza, Mark Lund, Juan Roberto Cavazos and Hugo Gamboa Jr.
