Dionisio lived a long, healthy, full life. At a young age, he was a cowboy at King Ranch. He was also very skilled in grafting. Throughout his life, he mastered numerous trades and passed on as much of that knowledge as possible to his children.
Dionisio is survived by his wife, Angela Martinez; his children, Manuela M. Montoya, Everardo Martinez, Abelardo Martinez, and Jose Jesus Martinez; his grandchildren, Kyra Lindsay, Kristian Montoya, Karianna Montoya, Steven Michael Montoya, Sierra M. Montoya, Esteban Jose Martinez, Jimena Yamileth Martinez, and Karen Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Gabriela Lindsay, Alexander Lindsay, Kellen Montoya and Mckenzie Montoya.
A visitation for Dionisio will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 10:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526.
