A dedicated truck driver for many years, Domingo was, above all, a provider. He worked faithfully to care for his family and took great pride in fulfilling that role with strength and integrity. A man of deep Catholic faith, he lived his beliefs daily through quiet prayer, steadfast values, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
He was known for his serious nature, yet those closest to him treasured his subtle humor and well-timed wit.
Wise and thoughtful, he offered guidance grounded in experience and faith, always leading by example rather than by words alone.
Domingo was a proud direct descendant of Gregorio Esparza, who fought defending the Alamo during the Battle of the Alamo. His heritage was a source of pride and a reminder of the courage and resilience he carried throughout his own life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Janie Castillo Esparza; his son, J. Michael Esparza; his daughter, Lyanne (Esparza) Corcoran; his younger sister, Lupita (Esparza) Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
He will be remembered as a faithful husband, loving father, devoted brother and uncle, and a man whose strength, wisdom, and humor will live on in all who knew him.
