

Domingo A. Hernandez, de 82 años, falleció el 20 de abril de 2026. Nació el 7 de diciembre de 1943. Con respeto y gratitud por su vida, hoy honramos a un hombre cuya presencia dejó huella por su entrega a los suyos, su fe constante y la calidez con la que trataba a cada persona que encontraba. Residía en Brownsville, Texas.
A lo largo de su vida, Domingo se distinguió por una dedicación profunda a su familia. Fue un esposo y padre entregado, y centró su vida en cuidar de su esposa y de su única hija. En su hogar se sintió siempre su amor firme y su sentido de responsabilidad; y, como abuelo, supo brindar cariño y alegría, dejando recuerdos entrañables en su nieta.
Hombre trabajador y de manos hábiles, Domingo fue verdaderamente un “todólogo”: un jack of all trades. La soldadura fue su oficio y también una afición que reflejaba su disciplina, su constancia y su orgullo por el trabajo bien hecho. A esa fortaleza cotidiana se sumaba un corazón bondadoso y una manera amable de estar en el mundo. Era sociable, no conocía extraños; su sonrisa, contagiosa, abría puertas y tendía puentes, y su sentido del humor aportaba luz incluso en los días difíciles.
Su vida también estuvo guiada por una fe profunda. Fue muy religioso y un firme creyente en Dios, y esa fidelidad espiritual se hizo visible en su forma de vivir: con respeto, con esperanza y con una disposición generosa hacia los demás. Su legado permanece en el amor que sembró, en el ejemplo de trabajo y en la manera digna y humana con la que caminó entre los suyos.
Domingo fue precedido en la muerte por su esposa, Maria Del Carmen Hernandez; su hermana, Margarita Solis Espinoza; su hermano, Romaldo Solis; su hermana, Ofelia Solis (Perez); su hermana, Jervasia Solis; y su hermano, Jose Solis. Le sobreviven su hija, Patricia Hernandez Gonzalez; su yerno, Juan Jose Gonzalez; su nieta, Isabella Maria Gonzalez; además de numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y familia extendida.
La visitación se llevará a cabo en Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, el 27 de abril de 2026, de 10:00 am a 12:00 pm con un Servicio De Capilla que se celebrará a las 12:00 pm

Domingo A. Hernandez, 82, passed away on April 20, 2026. He was born on December 7, 1943. With respect and gratitude for his life, today we honor a man whose presence left a lasting mark through his devotion to his loved ones, his steadfast faith, and the warmth with which he treated every person he met. He resided in Brownsville, Texas.
Throughout his life, Domingo was distinguished by a deep dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband and father, and he centered his life on caring for his wife and his only daughter. In his home, his steadfast love and sense of responsibility were always felt; and as a grandfather, he knew how to give affection and joy, leaving cherished memories with his granddaughter.
A hardworking man with skilled hands, Domingo was truly a “todólogo”: a jack of all trades. Welding was his trade and also a pastime that reflected his discipline, perseverance, and pride in work well done. Alongside that everyday strength was a kind heart and a gentle way of being in the world. He was sociable and never met a stranger; his contagious smile opened doors and built bridges, and his sense of humor brought light even on difficult days.
His life was also guided by a deep faith. He was very religious and a firm believer in God, and that spiritual faithfulness was visible in the way he lived: with respect, with hope, and with a generous disposition toward others. His legacy lives on in the love he planted, in his example of hard work, and in the dignified, humane way he walked among his own.
Domingo was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Del Carmen Hernandez; his sister, Margarita Solis Espinoza; his brother, Romaldo Solis; his sister, Ofelia Solis (Perez); his sister, Jervasia Solis; and his brother, Jose Solis. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Hernandez Gonzalez; his son-in-law, Juan Jose Gonzalez; his granddaughter, Isabella Maria Gonzalez; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
The visitation will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on April 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a chapel service to be held at 12:00 p.m. The burial will take place at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on April 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
