He was preceded in death by his father, Lucas Martinez; mother, Feliciana Hernandez; wife, Trinidad A La Torre; sons, Guillermo Martinez and Juan Martinez.

He is survived by his children, Gerarda Jimenez, Catalina Lopez, Amalia Gutierrez, San Juana Martinez, Jose Donato Martinez, Julia Martinez, Delia Zuniga, Ninfa Cuevas, Juana Preston, Elvia Lopez, Leticia Fryer and Alicia Velasquez; brothers, Nabor Martinez, Polo Martinez and Mauro Martinez; sisters, Ignacia Perez and Nico Zuniga; 32 granchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 9pm with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:30pm on Thursday, March 01, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A Chapel Service will be held at 10am on Friday, March 02, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Martinez, Julio Jimenez and Justino Sanchez
