His days were marked by the steady pull of home and the quiet comfort of familiar faces—time shared with his mother, his family, and his friends, where love was shown in presence as much as in words. Eduardo carried a lightness that made room for laughter. A natural jokester, he had a way of lifting a moment, turning ordinary conversation into something brighter and leaving people smiling long after the joke had passed.

In the simple joys he chose, his spirit was easy to recognize: the patience of fishing, the calm of waiting on the water, and the loyal enthusiasm of a true Patriots fan. Whether surrounded by loved ones or enjoying peaceful moments outdoors, Eduardo found happiness in the connections and routines that made life meaningful.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe A. Martinez.

Eduardo is survived by his loving mother, Olga B. Martinez; his sister, Leticia Martinez; his daughters, Melissa Martinez, Marcy Martinez, Michelle Martinez, and Mandy Martinez; his grandchildren, Malorie Saggese, Marissa Saggese, Michael Saggese, Marcus Saggese, Damien Trevino, Jayla Trevino, Juan Cisneros Jr., Macy Cisneros, Maddie Cisneros, Albert Zurrita, and Sade Perez; his great-grandchildren, Alani Farias and Ace Michael Farias; his nephew, Roger Maldonado; his nephew, Jacob Gonzalez; and his niece, Erika Blanco.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, US, on May 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W St Francis St, Brownsville, TX 78520, US, on May 12, 2026, at 11:30 am, followed by Burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 785269618, US, on May 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
