Eileen Catrina Fluty, 36, was born on August 19, 1989, and passed away on June 3, 2026. A resident of South Houston, Texas, Eileen’s light touched everyone around her, and her absence is felt deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Eileen was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cherished daughter, and friend—someone whose warmth was felt in the smallest moments and remembered in the biggest. She carried a positive spirit and a bright smile that could lift a room, offering kindness with an ease that made others feel seen, safe, and cared for.
Creativity was one of Eileen’s truest languages. She had a passion for beauty and self-expression, finding genuine joy in makeup artistry—a gift that first took root in her love for cosmetology school. Through her talent and eye for beauty, she brought confidence and brightness into the lives of others, leaving behind more than a finished look: she left behind a feeling of being valued.
Above all, Eileen adored being a mother. She treasured every moment with her children, Elijah and Eliise, holding close the everyday memories they created together and the love that shaped their home. Eileen will be remembered for her kind heart, radiant soul, and the beauty she brought into the lives of others.
Eileen is survived by her son, Elijah; her daughter, Eliise; her mother, Julia Herrera; her step-father, Jesus Herrera; her father, Samuel Fluty; her sisters, Cessly Herrera, Samantha Huerta, and Criselda Sanchez; and her brother, Adan Herrera. She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Fluty Jr.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on June 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
All services will conclude after the visitation.
